Service Description

People almost always have the solutions to their problems, and usually know in their hearts what they need to thrive. In my coaching practice, I help people access their own wisdom and knowing through a supportive presence and framework. My training: My coaching career began with an intensive course in Integral Coaching that was part of a master's degree in Human Systems Intervention. I fell in love with coaching then and there, and have coached and studied coaching ever since. I was a researcher at Concordia University in a study of what coaches do that is most helpful to their clients, I've mentored coaching students for the past 6 years, and am now in the middle of writing a book on coaching that will be published in 2025 about how to use coaching to be a better boss, parent, sibling, colleague and friend My background: I was an entrepreneur and spent many years in leadership, followed by a decade in non-profits. I've coached, mentored, and worked with organizations, teams, and leaders. I'm a mother and a grandmother, I've accompanied precious friends and old folks through the journey of dying, and felt the pain of seeing a loved one suffer from addiction. What I've learned from all my experience is to have an open mind and suspend judgment. Our challenges are unique, as are our solutions.
