Individual Coaching

Coaching is not about fixing you or pushing you toward a decision. It is a place to pause, think clearly, and reconnect with what matters to you—without pressure, scripts, or agendas.

In times of change, the people who fare best are not those who rush forward, but those who give themselves space to understand the transition they are in. That clarity often makes the next step—whether staying, moving, or redefining your path—feel less frightening and more intentional.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need a place where it’s safe to ask the right questions.

Individual coaching can help you:

  • Make sense of what is happening and what it means for you

  • Help you to evaluate options and contemplate your next steps without pressure

  • Process the emotional impact of uncertainty or change

  • Rebuild confidence and professional identity

  • Navigate transition with dignity rather than urgency

While formal mechanisms such as HR, labour relations, EAP, and WFA tools are essential, the lived experiences captured in this report point to a gap: people needed confidential, human-centred support to help them think clearly, process uncertainty, and navigate transition with dignity.

Individual coaching addresses that gap. Coaches do not give advice, rather they offer a safe space and a thought partner when everything feels unsettled. It is one-on-one support, responsive to the unique experiences of individuals during workforce adjustment.

Coaching complements existing structures by focusing on:

  • Sense-making during uncertainty

  • Emotional and psychological transition

  • Preparation for difficult conversations and decisions

  • Restoring agency, clarity, and confidence
